In my opinion, it depends on your interest, more than the opportunity in a specific industry. MBA is a management course and it is totally different from the engineering course. You will know where your interest lies once you get insight on the specializations. Right now there is more opportunity in marketing and sales and most of the companies offer marketing and sales role.

Though SSN is affiliated to Anna University, Chennai, our teaching methodology makes a big difference and it is at par with good B-School teaching pedagogy followed across the country. Yes, you can apply with May 2017 MAT scores. You need 80 percentile and above to be eligible.

The placement setting could be similar and not much difference in terms of companies that come for recruitment.
The fee structure in SSN is very competitive with two year program cost at Rs 4.5 lakhs inclusive of single room hostel accommodation.
SSN admission process is very strict and no student with less than 80 percentile MAT score will be offered an opportunity for GD/PI. SSN also insists on academic consistency and students with history of arrears generally do not qualify for GD/PI irrespective of their high scores in admission tests such as CAT/XAT/MAT
