For BA, you can pursue anything in class 12th. There is no subject eligibility criteria for BA. But, I would suggest pursuing science, as it could later help you to pursue many other courses. You can take English and Hindi Literature in class 12th if you want. That could help but not much.

Hi Ankita,
For applying in microbiology honors at St. Xavier's College, Kolkata you must have minimum of 60% in aggregate. The cut-off for this course are around 90%+ every year.
Your compulsory subjects are:-
a) Maths
b) Chemistry
c) Physics
d) Biology.

I'm sorry to say, maths is a compulsory subject for BMS admission.
You could try some other colleges like Techno or Heritage.
