I don't know much about Delhi University when it comes to faculty, but given that most of the books authored by the professors of DU, sell like hot cakes all over in India, for all professional exams, I can easily assume, that the professors must also be pretty good there. The cut off for St. Xavier's College for FYBA is quite high. Around 95%-98%. There is no OBC quota here. The only reservations provided are management quota, a Christian minority and special category that is national level sports or freedom fighter ward or ward of some transferred state worker (high post).
You shall try for other colleges, you can't get in Xaviers according to me. All the best.

Hi Shekhar,
The candidates must have passed 10+2 with 60% in aggregate (English+3) with English as a mandatory subject. Selection would be done on the basis of the index calculated with the board marks in +2 level. Application forms are to be filled in & submitted online through the college website.
Regards.

The application form can be filled online for B.A. and B.Sc. while the form for B.Com has to be submitted through offline mode. The admissions are merit-based and subject to availability of seats.

Hi Shekhar, you can apply. One can apply from any recognised board. Go through the eligibility criteria of the particular subject you want to opt. If you are eligible you can apply for sure and rest depends on the merit list. You can take admission if you are selected. All the best.
