Since Stanford has very high fees, it does provide scholarships to students who are very good academically. If you are one of them then there a chance you can get a scholarship, but remember there are thousands like you applying for this scholarship so you need to stand out from them.

Hi Ishan,
If you go to the website of Stanford GSB (or even Harvard's) you will find that they require 4 year's of graduation (fresher, sophomores, junior and senior). Therefore, in case you have done your BBA you are actually “ineligible" to apply for Stanford. However, if you successfully clear your 2 year programme in management (PGDM) from a recognised university, your application then can be considered.

The mathematical answer to your question is quite straight forward to calculate. The median salary out of a Stanford MBA is $125K with an offer rate of 94%, so the expected salary at graduation is $116K. So you will spend $200K for a 1st year return of $116K. Then you can add other things, like expected growth, opportunity cost, some kind of value to intangibles and happiness. I am assuming that your academics side is not very strong, hence I want to give you advice that work on your extra- curricular, like work for some NGOs, volunteer activities, participation in various activities, sports certificate etc. And, try to get good colleges IVYs are not the only good colleges.
