The students who are a part of the sports and athletics teams at Northeastern University are called to be the Huskies. They have competed in 13 varsity team sports in activities such as Hockey, Baseball, Basketball, Volleyball, Swimming, Soccer, and Cross Country.  

Northeastern University is known to be a part of the Division I athletic teams as well as their club and intramural sports. The university has more than 19 Division I athletic teams in the Boston campus. Other than this, Northeastern includes over 25 intramural and 64 club teams for students in their Boston, Oakland and London campuses. Some of the sports offered at the university include Lacrosse, Rugby, Ultimate Frisbee and Badminton, etc.  

Northeastern University has been recognised as a top tier R1 institution for research activities among top US colleges and universities by the Carnegie Classification of Institutions of Higher Education. The College of Engineering at Northeastern University has more than 240 tenured faculty members that have brought complementary areas of research expertise to address pressing global challenges. Northeastern's College of Engineering has over 20 multidisciplinary research center and institutes that offer funding from 8 federal agencies.  

Northeastern University will accept official English test score results from one of the valid language tests that have been approved. The university does not have any minimum score requirements and students are to submit their final results to be accepted. The MS course specializations offered at the RMIT Univeristy are in various study areas, including Data Science, Food Science and Technology, Geospatial Science, Laboratory Medicine, Biotechnology, Artificial Intelligence, Marketing, Computer Science, Business and many more.

The Course offered at the RMIT University under the MS degree covers a fee range of INR 17 L to INR 25 L for the first year and the duration of the course is 18 months to 2 years.

Northeastern University is known to have one of the largest student communities in USA and has offered resources, support and guidance to receive in their academic journey. It might not offer any scholarships to US citizens but they offer merit based scholarships to indian students based on their application and academic record.

Northeastern University offers residential dining facilities for students on campus and the main Boston campus accepts Meal plans, Guest Meals, Dining Dollars, Husky Dollars, and Bonus Bucks. The university is known to offer several meal plans for students where they are required to be enrolled in a traditional meal plan as well as for continuing students. All full-time students at the university can avail the option of Traditional Meal Plans or Community Meal Plans.
