As per the official source, Hofstra University expects an average GPA score of 3.2 on a 4-point scale from international students. Students who get up to a 3.2 GPA or above get waived for standardized test scores. However, as per the student profile of the class of 2028, an average GPA of 3.8 was scored by the students who were admitted. In addition, students must fulfill the basic eligibility by submitting proof of high school completion for UG and a bachelor's degree from a recognised university for PG admissions.

The GRE scores at Hofstra University are not mandatory to submit. The university provides test options for the same. However, students prefer to submit their GRE scores along with the other requirements to improve their selection probability. The other requirements for international students include transcripts from previously attended universities, English language requirements, GPA scores, letters of recommendation, essays, resumes, and more.
