According to an unofficial source, 32% of applicants get accepted to the University of Gottingen. The university is one of the organizations that do not release acceptance rate data, though. The projected percentage demonstrates how difficult it is to get into the university and how it chooses applicants for its programs. All the applications are assessed individually and fairly by the university. In general, the institution gives priority to enrolling students who meet the eligibility and admission standards.

F-1 regulations require that students should be making “good academic progress”. However, DHS has recognised that students may fail a class, which does not affect their status. The purpose of F-1 status is to study and complete a degree. Although F-1 regulations recognize that students may have academic problems and delays, getting poor grades may result in problems. If you are having difficulty, we strongly recommend that you meet with an International Student Advisor to discuss your situation.
