Based on the acceptance rates of the respective institutes it can be said that Cornell is slightly easier to get into as compared to Stanford.
Though securing admissions to both institutions is not an easy ask, Cornell with an acceptance rate of 7.8% is a bit less selective at picking students than Stanford that has an acceptance rate almost half that of Cornell, 3.9%.

The Cornell Engineering college has an acceptance rate of only 24.2%, per US News, suggesting it is very competitive to secure admissions to. Candidates interested in higher studies from Cornell must perform really well in past academics & other university-entrance exams to have a chance of securing a seat at the institute.
