Robert Gordon University is ranked #91 in UK and #592 at global level by Shiksha Popularity Ranking. QS World University has ranked university #951 for 2026, whereas 2024 and 2025 rankings were #901 - 950. This shows a decline in graph. Apart from this,  Times Higher Education has ranked the university #801-1000 in 2025.

International students in Germany can work max 20 hours a week during academics. But during vacations, students are allowed to work upto 40 hours a week.

Over an year, international students can work max 140 full days or 280 half days as per government regulations.

Working more than 4 hours a day is described as working full-time, while less than 4 hours a day, is described as part-time in Germany.

International students who want German student visa must have min bank balance of EUR 11,900 (INR 12.54 L) for 1st year. German govt. want to make sure that all students who apply for study visa in Germany should have enough money to fund their studies in Germany.

Students are also required to pay application fee of EUR 75 (INR 7.9 K) to submit student visa application.

INR 10 Lakhs can be enough for international students enrolled in public universities in Germany which charge lower tuition fees from its students.

The cost of living in Germany for a year is estimated to be around EUR 11,904,  but can be made up for provided one is able to land a part time job.

According to unofficial sources, Karlsruhe Institute of Technology acceptance rate is around 26%. This demonstrates that university is tough to get into. University usually prioritizes academic qualification, English language proficiency, interview and applicant background. To improve chances of selection, students must aim to score high in academics and perform best in interviews.

To secure seat in KIT Indian students need to fill the application on timelyand fulfil basic eligibility criteria along with submission of application and submission of documentation like LORs, SOPs, academic records etc

No, as per new criteria students to have attained minimum 70% or more in their 12th standard academics can study in Germany. But for that, students must maintain a strong CV with quality scores in German university entrance tests & language test scores.

Public universities in Germany are relatively tougher to get into with low scores than private ones, which charge a higher tuition fee. 

Students are advised to conduct a thorough research of both public & private universities in Germany accepting students with a 70% aggregate in Class 12th.
