With Effect from Feb 17, 2025, the German Foreign Ministry has upgraded the visa processing mechanism for Indian students with the launch of the Consular Services Portal that can be visited on "digital.diplo.de in". The aim is to reduce the overall processing time of German student visas for Indian students.
Students now have the flexibility to apply directly via the online portal, by filling the visa application form & submitting the required documents without the need to visit the VFS Global center.
