The University of Southampton does not directly grant work permits to international students. Instead, international students can work in the UK on a standard student visa, which permits them to work part-time while they are enrolled in classes, typically up to 20 hours per week during the academic year. If necessary, the university can sponsor certain work visas for jobs that call for sponsorship.
