Hofstra University expects a minimum cumulative GPA of 3.7 on a 4 scale. As per the class of 2027, 95% of the students scored a minimum GPA of 3 or higher. International students must aim to score a GPA of 3 or higher to be considered at Hofstra. Along with the GPA, students can submit the ACT or SAT scores (the university provides test options) to make a positive impact on their resume. The minimum score required is between 26 and 31 on the ACT and between 1230 and 1410 on the SAT. Students must aim to score much more than the requirement to become eligible for Hofstra University admission.
