Governors State University offers accommodation to students at the Prairie Place which is the GovState’s residence hall. The residence offers students with an inclusive, safe, active, and supportive environment. The students are offered amenities such as a full-furnished four-bedroom apartment along with suite facilities as well. The Prairie Place has four different housing units and each has a different price. Students living on-campus enjoy the benefits of saving transportation time, getting more actively involved in campus programs and activities, meeting diverse groups of people, and enjoying free facilities as well.

There are two modes of GMAT exam, which are as follows:
- Applicants can take GMAT exam online either at home or at any location of their convenience.
- For those who want to give the GMAT exam traditionally, can go for the GMAT exam at an exam centre.
The content, duration, syllabus and pattern of both GMAT exam modes are similar. The only difference is the GMAT exam fee. GMAT online exam is more expensive than appearing for the GMAT exam at the exam centre, which is USD 300 and USD 275 respectively.
