To convert SGPA (10-Point Scale) to GPA (4.0 Scale), follow this basic formula:
GPA (4.0 Scale)= (SGPA/10)*4
? For Example: Convert 9.5 SGPA into GPA
- GPA (4.0 Scale)= (9.5/10)*4

Yes Florida State University permits international students to work while studying. Overseas students must be mindful of the fact that they can work no more than 20 hours per week while classes are in session and it is essential that this employment does not interfere with a their academic program. During vacations, they can work for unlimited hours.

UMHB students are required to live in university housing, unless they satisfy one of the below mentioned criterias:
- Plan to live with a spouse, parent or a legal guardian within commutable distance from the university campus
- Have accumulated 48 or more hours & are at-least 21 years old
- Planning to attend the institute as a part-time student
The 3rd point is only applicable for fall/spring semesters.
