The University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign only prefers admission via official application portals (admissions.illinois.edu/apply) for UG and (grad.illinois.edu/admissions/apply) for PG. International students must fulfill the basic eligibility and submit all the required documents asked by the university. The eligibility for UG includes a proof of high school degree and a bachelor's degree from a recognised university or equivalent for PG. Students may be required to submit documents such as transcripts, letters of recommendation, standardized test scores, GPA, English language requirements, and more.

Universities abroad explore course versatility and are able to teach the depths required to handle subjects covered under MS and combine theory with practical knowledge. Hence, students who can afford to study MS abroad should take the plunge as the gains outweigh the risk in the long run.

There is no fixed duration for MS abroad as they vary from university to course abroad. While most specialisations would take up to 2 years to complete, there are other specialisations that could take a shorter period of time or in other cases, stretch beyond the two years. The duration of the course is entirely dependent on the university and specialisation you have opted for.

Universities abroad have competitive pricing. Hence, candidates would be required to pay for tuition and also have enough funds to support their living in the host country. Deserving candidates can apply for scholarships to lessen the financial burden.  Germany is one such country that does not have tuition fees for its  public universities, however, candidates are required to pay an Administration Fee every semester (nominal amount).
