Western New England University has an acceptance rate of 88% making admission to the university somewhat easy for the students. The Acceptance rate at the University of Bridgeport is around 71-73% making admission to the university comparatively easy for the students. International students are also required to adhere to the admission requirements stated by the universities along with securing the minimum accepted English Language proficiency test scores. Students must also submit all the necessary documents along with the application fee to increase their chances of acceptance to the university.

Western New England University and University of the Pacific are both high ranking universities with National university ranking of #273 and #136 in 2025 respectively according to top ranking publishers. Both National Universities Ranking and Shiksha grading system show that University of Pacific has higher ranking and grading than WNEU. But there are other parameters that can be taken into consideration to know which university is better such as tuition fees, programs offered, scholarships offered, placement opportunities, accommodation facilities and overall student and campus life among some other factors as well.
