Candidates seeking admission to NISER and UM–DAE CEBS for the Integrated MSc programme 2024–29 should be from the regular science stream in classes 11 and 12.

• It is mandatory for all aspiring candidates to write the NEST 2024 examination.
• Candidates must have passed the class 12 examination from any recognised Board in India in the years 2023 or 2024 or should be appearing for the same in 2025. 
• Candidates who are appearing for the board examination in 2025 must pass it by the time of admission into the programme. Also, candidates must secure at least 60% marks in aggregate or equivalent grade in class 12 examination to be eligible for admission to NISER and UM-DAE CEBS. 
• Candidates satisfying all the above criteria will be considered for admission strictly based on the Merit List of NEST 2025. 
• For candidates belonging to scheduled castes (SC), scheduled tribes (ST), and Divyangjan categories, the minimum requirement of marks is relaxed to 55% in aggregate or equivalent grade in class 12 examination. 
• Where only letter grades are available, a certificate from the concerned Board specifying an equivalent percentage of marks is required to be submitted. In the absence of such a certificate, the decision of the admissions committee of the concerned institution will be final.

Keep these SAT basics in mind when registering for SAT exam:

• Registering for SAT online can take some time, you can keep saving your application and coming back to it.
• Put in the right details - personal and academic details, avoid changing it after registrations. 
• Ensure you register for SAT way before the SAT exam date and there should be no scope for changes.
• Uploading a headshot image is not madatory but is preferable during SAT registrations. 
• When checking out, ensure your cards or online payment gateway is working so that transaction doesn't fail.
• Once you pay the SAT exam fee, take a printout of the admission ticket.
• After the SAT registration process, ensure you download Bluebook App and set up your account, and take a practice test if needed.
