Both Kursk State Medical University and Kazan Federal University are well known for their MBBS programs both in terms of the education provided and its fee structure. While the difference between the two universities in terms of its tuition fee is not huge. KSMU tuition fee for MBBS is INR 3.47 Lakh and MBBS fee in KFU is INR 3.71 Lakh.

The classes for MBBS at KSMU commences from the month of September every year. The students are given a time period of 3-4 months for getting enrollment in the university. The application form filling starts from the start of July till its deadline of Sep 15, 2025. However, international students are recommended to submit applications by Aug 15, 2025 to allow enough time for visa processing.

Kursk State Medical University  does not provide any university based scholarships to its students, however, the students can apply for scholarships that are merit based and applicable to all universities in various countries including Russia. Some of these scholarships are Unimoni student stars 2023, JN Tata endowment loan scholarship, K.C. Mahindra scholarships for post graduate study abroad, Young women in public affairs award and many more.

Missouri State is one of the popular university in the region. With an acceptance rate of more than 90%, it is easy to get selected into the university. The international students however are required to maintain some eleigibility criteria in terms of documents and test required.

With an acceptance rate of 74%, it is relatively easy for students to get admission in the Kursk State Medical University. The students are required to secure a minimum of 50% in 12 classes with biology, physics, and chemistry as their subjects. 40% marks are required for those of reserved category.
