The average GPA of students enrolled in higher education in South Korea stands at 2.5 on a 4.0 scale. However, most of the decent universities, require students to maintain an equivalent GPA of 3.0 in past academics.

Universities in South Korea lay a major emphasis on academic scores and therefore, students are advised to maintain strong scores in school and college, before applying for higher studies in South Korea
