The JEE Main exam is conducted by the National Testing Agency (NTA). It is conducted for admission to BTech in most colleges all over India, not only for the Sushila Devi Bansal College of Engineering. The JEE Main exam is conducted twice a year. The results for session 1 were released on February 12, 2025, and the results for session 2 were released on May 23, 2025. Candidates must have obtained 10+2 with Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics and a valid JEE Main score to take admission in B.Tech. Students can register for MP DTE (MP BE) counselling, fill online options, upload documents (10th/12th marksheets, JEE score card, Identity proofs), and pay the counselling fee. After allotment of seat, the candidates have to report to SDBCT for document verification, and fee payment.

The closing JEE Main ranks in 2024 ranged approximately 938,238 –1,412,750, depending on branch, with CSE closing at ~1,412,800, IT ~1,402,000, ECE ~1,351,900, Mechanical ~1,364,000, and C ivil ~1,314,750.

Admission to Sushila Devi Bansal College of Technology (SDBCT), Indore is moderately easy:
For all category, MP BE counselling closing ranks as per 2024 admission at SDBCT for branches range near 9,38,000 (Civil) to 14,13,000 (CSE).
This indicates that students who achieve JEE Main or MP BE rank of above 9 lakh, to Civil, Mechanical, IT, ECE students stand a good chance of getting admission, while CSE students have higher closing ranks.
There are chances to secure admission even being a student on direct merit basis through management quota but also involve extra charges.

Yes, admission is open for B.E. / B.Tech at Sushila Devi Bansal College of Technology (SD Bansal), Indore for the academic year 2025–26 through MP State BE (MP BE) counselling and JEE Main (JoSAA):
MP BE counselling registration is open now (May 27 – June 20, 2025), followed by choice filling and then seat allotment in July.
Eligibility: 10+2 with PCM and 45% minimum marks; admission based on JEE Main, MP BE, or MPPET marks.
Candidates with a Diploma can apply for lateral entry to second year, through the Directorate of Technical Education, Bhopal.

On the whole, several students mentioned that the food in the canteen is of below-average quality. Calling the infrastructure satisfactory, students did report that the food served from the canteen is often stale or unhygienic, with limited variety and, importantly, no hosting mess the food experience is not good.

It depends on the course in which the student is interested. Sushila Devi Bansal College of Engineering offers MBA, MTech, and BTech courses. The basic eligibility criteria for each course require the student to have a minimum of 45% in the previous qualification.
