There are about 2 top Fashion Design colleges in Chennai. Of these,  college is privately owned and 1 is owned by public/government organisations. Students can secure admission on merit basis. Some of the popular Fashion Designing colleges in Chennai include NIFT Chennai and Hindustan Institute of Technology and Science.

Yes, IMU Chennai does offer female scholarships to BBA students. Basically, In order to encourage and motivate girl cadets to join the maritime career, deserving girl students are being given scholarships by the industry. fee concession for girl students is under consideration by the Government of India.

Yes, IMU Chennai does offer scholarships to BTech students on various grounds, such as academic merit, to the meritorious students with the aim of motivating them to keep achieving remarkably every semester. The scheme is based on the academic performance of the students in their immediate previous semester examination. Moreover, the campus also offers scholarships to women cadets, economically weak students, and state/ government aided scholarships.

The eligibility criteria and admission process for the BTech course at both institutes—IMU Kolkata and IMU Chennai campus—are almost similar, in which candidates are required to complete their Class 12 with an aggregate of 60%. Additionally, for the selection process, the campuses accept relevant IMU CET exam scores.
