Hi,
Teaching subjects at the TGT level depends upon the subject you have studied in your graduation. For a language teacher you must have studied English as subject for all three years in your graduation then only you are eligible for TGT English teacher. You must know that there is no special subject as Commerce at TGT level. Therefore, with the combination of B.St and Economics you are eligible for the TGT Social Science. I would suggest you to do Master just after B.Ed.

To become eligible for the post of Assistant Professor, firstly you have to qualify the exam like UGC NET. The UGC NET Exam is conducted by the National Testing Agency to select the serving candidates for lectureship (Assistant Professor) or awarding Junior Research Fellowship. The minimum eligibility criteria to become eligible for UGC NET Exam is having a complete Masters degree with 55% aggregate marks. Yes, the minimum eligibility criteria to become eligible for the UGC NET Exam is having a master's degree with 55% aggregate marks. The candidates who belong from the reserved categories (SC/ST/OBC/PwD/Transgenders) will get the relaxations in the required percentage for the NET Exam.
There is no age limit to appear in NET Exam for Lectureship but if you are going to apply for JRF (Junior Research Fellowship) then the maximum age limit is 30 years. I hope it helps.

What you score in your previous qualifications doesn't matter, what matter is that you have a B.Ed degree. So don't go with percentage, the percentage is only required for the government sector as it's a GATE pass. If you have the ability to teach students, nothing will stop you.

Yes, you should be eligible for teaching 2nd-grade students, although it is much beneficial to become a professor in college. You can also try going to class 10th. All you have to do is apply for jobs in various private schools and try to clear the interview which is the selection procedure in most private schools. If you want a government school's job then you have to qualify exams like TET.
