The Professor is very senior post in Universities and required the minimum 10-15 years of experience in Assistant Professorship. There is no direct recruitment on the post of Professor and generally promoted among the Assistant Professors. The basic steps involves in become as professor are given below. The eligibility criteria which must be fulfilled to become a Professor is given below:
1. The candidate must have passed 10+2 in any stream from a recognised board.
2. The candidate must have passed a graduation/ post graduation level degree in any stream from a recognised institute.
3. The candidates can also go for a Ph.D. degree in the preferred stream to avail a career path in Research-based institutions.
4. Qualifying UGC NET is necessary if you want to take this profession.
