No, graduates are not eligible to apply for the UGC NET exam. Only postgraduates can fill the UGC NET application form. However, if you are appearing in or awaiting results for the final year exams of M.A. Degree, you can apply for the exam.

Candidates who have also secured at least 55% marks (without rounding off) in Masters Degree or equivalent examination from universities/institutions recognised by UGC in Humanities (including languages) and Social Science, Computer Science & Applications, Electronic Science, etc. Are also eligible to appear for NET. The Other Backward Classes belonging to non-creamy layer/Scheduled Caste (SC)/Scheduled Tribe/ persons with disability category candidates who have secured at least 50% marks (without rounding off) in Masters degree or equivalent examination are eligible for this Test.

NET is also an abbreviated form National Eligibility Test by the University Grants Commission (UGC) performed. The exam is written for candidates in order to make the lecturer or research scholarship to attend college. In general, the passing rate of students (Only about 5%) because of very small high standards. If the candidates want to take up young teachers and students have a degree or a doctorate, then he/ she must pass the National Eligibility Test University. The National Eligibility Test (NET) is also a test to determine the eligibility for a college and university level lectureship and for the award of Junior Research Fellowship (JRF) for Indian nationals. It aims to ensure minimum standards for the entrants in teaching professions and research. On behalf of the University Grants Commission (UGC), the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) holds the test for determining the eligibility of Indian nationals for the eligibility for Assistant Professor or Junior Research Fellowship and eligibility for Assistant Professor, both in Indian universities and colleges etc.

1- Junior Research Fellow (JRF): 31 years
2- Assistant Professor (Andhra Pradesh): No upper age limit. Age Relaxation For UGC NET 2023:
1- Candidates pursuing LL. M. degree: 3 years
2- Ex-Army man: 5 years
3- SC, ST, and OBC-non-creamy layer, Female, and Transgender: 5 years
4- Research candidates (only on producing the Certificate issued by appropriate authority): 5 years

You can start preparing for the exam with revision of your notes. First of all, find the syllabus associated with NET exam, and then start preparing with the syllabus, be consistent in your studies, and make sure that you must write at least 3-4 mock exam in one month. And the age limit for NET is below 31 years.
