Yes, you are eligible to appear for the National Eligibility Test (NET) if you have completed your PGDM from an AICTE approved institution. As per the eligibility criteria for NET, candidates who have completed their postgraduate degree or equivalent examination with at least 55% marks from a recognised university or institution are eligible to appear for the exam. Yes, you will be eligible to appear for the UGC NET exam after completing your PG through distance learning, provided that the programme is recognised by the University Grants Commission (UGC) or any other statutory body like AICTE, AIU, etc.

After you qualify the UPTET exam, you are awarded the eligibility Certificate. UPTET does not guarantee any job after the candidate qualifies the exam. Though, the candidates will become eligible for the recruitment exam after qualifying for the UPTET exam. The recruitment exam for recruiting teachers in the school of Uttar Pradesh. The candidates can apply for the different vacancies according to their eligibility. The UP government releases the vacancies for the teachers according to the need of the state.

The UPTET certificate is now valid forever. Ramesh Pokhariyal, Indian Education Minister has announced that the validity of the TET certificate is extended for a lifetime. Earlier the validity of the certificates was 5 years. Candidates qualifying for the UPTET 2025 exam will be the first batch of candidates with a lifetime UPTET certificate. They can apply for teacher recruitment in Uttar Pradesh schools at any point in time till they fulfil the eligibility criteria fixed by the respective recruiting agency.

UGC NET 2023 Exam Date has been announced. It will be held from 13th to 22nd June 2023. Exam will be organized twice in a year in the month of June & December 2023
