Candidates need to fulfil any one of the eligibility conditions mentioned below in terms of educational qualification in order to appear for the UPTET Paper 1:
Class 12 with minimum 50 per cent marks and passed or appearing in the final year of 2 years Diploma in Elementary Education. Class 12 with minimum 50 per cent marks and passed or appearing in the final year of 4 years Bachelor of Elementary Education (BElEd). Class 12 with minimum 50 per cent marks and passed or appearing in the final year of 2 years Diploma in Education (Special Education). Graduation and passed or appearing in the final year of 2 years Diploma in Elementary Education. Graduation with B.Ed (final year appearing or passed). Candidates need to fulfil any one of the eligibility criteria given below in terms of educational qualification in order to appear for the UPTET Paper 2:
Graduation with a two-year Diploma in Elementary Education. Graduation with minimum 50 per cent marks and passed or appearing in one-year B.Ed. Graduation with at least 45 per cent marks and a one year B.Ed. Class 12 with minimum 50 per cent marks with a four-year BElEd.
