No, D. El. Ed is not compulsory, if you had completed B.Ed. The B.Ed. Degree course is mandatory for teaching in higher primary schools and high schools. Thanks.

Written Skill is like a GD, where instead of discussing about a topic with everyone, you need to discuss with yourself and write your thoughts instead of speaking. It is a paragraph writing on a topic. The topic could be from current affairs or from a socially debatable issue or it could be an abstract topic.

Hello,
Start early for the examination.
6 months duration is considered the ideal duration for exam preparation. Out of these 6 months, 1 month you must dedicate for paper 1 (15 days for concepts, 5 days for revision & 10 days for practice)
No need to go beyond the UGC NET Syllabus. Coming to core paper now, you have 5 months for this (3 months for concepts & relevant question practice from standard books,1 month for consistent revision, 1 month for practice papers)
I have suggested the above time division as per the experience of UGC NET Toppers.

Literary movements to be read are Formalism, Postcolonial writing, and writers, Feminism, New Historicism, Reader Response Theory, New Criticism, Cultural Studies, etc. Also, stay yourself updated on other developments in the field of literature. Like bestseller novels, literary awards, etc. For UGC NET English Literature, Work well on literary theories as it has a good marking weightage. Yes, you can pursue both courses as an integrated dual degree course. You are allowed to do Bachelor of Education and Master of Science as an integrated degree course after covering the eligibility criteria of both the courses. You can do an M.Sc and B.Ed together.

Check out the syllabus first. If you are pursuing Masters or you have completed it so must compare the syllabus, check how comfortable you are with the fundamental knowledge. Must follow the standard books. A. K. Jain for L. M. Entrance Exam

Appear for NTA NET Mock Test http://bit.ly/2LJNhBL to know how accurate and efficient you are at your concepts. After recalling the concepts, you need to do is practice. Start solving the MCQs. Solve a variety of questions available on each topic. Now to face the exact difficulty level you must practice previous year question papers.
