No, it is not necessary to have in B.Ed degree to become PGT teacher. B.Ed degree is only required if you want make your career as a TGT teacher.

Hello,
It is very nice to see that you are interested in going for the education field. There are many colleges in Mumbai offering this course. However considering geography and commutation involved, it's better to select the college that is conveniently located. Else you can always think of doing via distance from say IGNOU. I am attaching a link that will give you all the required information about different colleges in Mumbai offering this.

Hello,
It is very nice to see that you are interested in going to the education field. Normally speaking, the eligibility criteria for this entrance exam conducted by NCERT is 12th. Now many states have declared Diploma as equivalent to 12th. So please check with the institution from where you did Diploma and obtain this equivalence cert. Once you have this then you can appear for any exam where eligibility is 12th. Best wishes to you.

Yes, you are eligible to appear in CTET 2016 examination being a B.Ed 1st year student. Candidates who have completed Graduation with an aggregate of at least 50% marks from a recognized university and passed or appearing in first year Bachelor in Education.

The new IGNOU B.Ed application schedule is yet to be released by NTA. Earlier, IGNOU B.Ed Entrance Test 2020 was to be conducted by NTA on April 29. The new IGNOU B.Ed Entrance Test date is yet to be announced. Earlier, IGNOU B.Ed Entrance Test 2020 result was scheduled to be declared by NTA on May 10.

CTET Eligibility 2020
Candidates should pass 10+2 with minimum 45 per cent aggregate marks in order to be qualified for appointment as a primary stage teacher
Candidates should clear graduation with minimum 45 per cent aggregate marks or 10+2 with at least 50 per cent aggregate marks in order to be qualified for appointment as an elementary stage teacher
Candidates should complete the prescribed teacher training programmes/teacher education courses.

Diploma in Education (Special Education) and B.Ed (Special Education) recognised by the Rehabilitation Council of India (RCI) only will be taken into consideration. A person who is currently pursuing any of the education courses recognised by the NCTE or the RCI is eligible for appearing in CTET 2020.
