No, the degree of a BDS (Bachelor of Dental Surgery) is not eligible for you alone to directly enter a M.Ed. (Master of Education) Program, even through online mode. Usually, M.Ed. Programs require a degree of graduate (B.Ed.) or an equivalent teaching qualification. Some universities may consider candidates with other relevant bachelor's degrees or teaching experiences, but BDS is usually not considered a direct equivalent.

That's perfectly okay—it happens more than you would think. Professors are generally quite busy and may appreciate if you present them with a structure or a rough draft to enable them. You can even present this LOR format article or even give them bullet points about your work to them—like your resume, transcript, projects, and accomplishments. Some institutions also allow you to write the LOR yourself for the recommender to sign and authenticate, although we would caution using that option with care. It is about communicating respectfully with the professor and streamlining the process for them without compromising on authenticity

In Bilaspur, institutions like Guru Ghasidas Vishwavidyalaya and D.L.S. College offer integrated B.A B.Ed courses as per NEP guidelines. These programs combine arts subjects with teacher education over a four-year duration. Fees in government colleges are affordable, usually under fifty thousand rupees for the entire course. Admissions are often merit-based or through state-level entrance exams.
