History is one of the subjects in Bihar BET 2025 such as ancient, medieval, modern, and world history.

 Its syllabus on ancient history is course-wise like Harappan civilization, Vedic age, Mauryan and Gupta empires, and early South Indian kingdoms.

 It has extensive coverage of medieval history like the Delhi Sultanate, Mughal Empire, Bhakti and Sufi movements, and regional kingdoms.

Modern history areas include British rule in India, freedom movements, the social reformers, Gandhiji, Nehruji, and Subhas Chandra Bose, and in world history the Renaissance, Industrial Revolution, world wars, and decolonization.

D.Ed colleges in West Bengal boast many recognised colleges, some of which include the WBBPE affiliated Bengal Teachers  Training College, Rabindra Shiksha Sammilani College of Education, just to mention a few.

 These colleges have excellent infrastructure, highly qualified faculty members and lay down a very effective curriculum for preparing students for the teaching profession.

 The most important thing, however, is that one needs to visit and research each of the colleges, relative to location, personal choice and admission requirements, in order to decide.

To become a government teacher for the Maths subject, first, you need to complete B.Ed (Bachelor of Education) after your B.Tech. Since you are already a graduate in civil engineering, B.Ed will take just 2 years. Choose Maths as your teaching subject in B.Ed.

Also use that time during B.Ed to prepare for exams like CTET and TET.
