The NTA will release the UGC NET 2026 June session admit card few days before the examination date. It will be published at ugcnet.nta.nic.in.

JRF ranges from approximately INR 37,000 per month for the first two years and approximately INR 42,000 per month as Senior Research Fellow.

No, the UGC-NET is not a mandatory entrance exam for IIM Shillong PhD admissions. Aside from UGC-NET, candidates can also appear for the CAT, GRE, GATE or GMAT to qualify for PhD admissions as well. 

Candidates who fulfill certain requirements are not required to appear for any of the aforementioned entrance exams to qualify for IIM Shillong PhD admissions.

The National Testing Agency will conduct the UGC NET exam in an online mode that in Computer-Based Test mode. Multiple choice questions that is questions with several options will be asked in the examination. Candidates need to choose the appropriate answer.

The June session admit card for the UGC NET exam will be released by June 15 as per the official notification. It will be released on the official portal at ugcnet.nta.nic.in. 

The UGC NET 2026 notification for the June session was released on April 29, 2026 by the National Testing Agency (NTA). It consists of all the information related to the UGC NET exam. The application process also started with the release of the notification. The last date to apply was May 24.

You need a PhD degree to become a Professor in India. Along with this, other requirements must also be fulfilled, for example -

• Getting good marks in your PG degree
• Qualifying for NET/ GATE/ SET exams

After this, you can apply for an Assistant Professor or Teaching Assistant job in a college or university. Build your portfolio, public papers, and do research work. 

The BVoc programme at NIF Global, West Delhi is a three-year UG course. The entire course is divided into six semesters. Candidates who have passed Class 12 are eligible to apply for BVoc programme at NIF Global, West Delhi.
