Alagappa University conducts an entrance exam to select candidates for B.Ed programme. The entrance test is conducted at Karaikudi only. Once the results are out, aspirants are selected based on their score in the entrance exam. The university then offers seats to the selected candidates.

The fee range for B.Ed. at Swami Vivekanand B.Ed Teachers Training College is INR 25,000 -27,000 for the whole course.

The seat break up is 200. The college is affiliated with Lalit Narayan Mithila University. 

Bihar B.Ed CET is the entrance exam required for this course.
