Yes, Indira Gandhi National Open University conducts IGNOU BEd Entrance Test every year in March to fulfil 50 seats available seats in this course. The exam is expected to be conducted on March 15.

The UGC NET 2026 Cut off for the June session will be released at ugcnet.nta.nic.in. It is the minimum qualifying marks required by the student to clear the exam. The Cutoff PDF will be released along with the result.

We have past year MAH BEd CET question papers for aspirants to download and practice. These official MAH BEd CET question papers are available for download free.

The MAH BEd CET is conducted in both the languages Marathi and English for all the registered candidates. The exam is conducted for BEd General and ELCT alongside BED-MEd, and MEd course.

The regulatory authority National Council for Teacher Education (NCTE) changed the B.Ed course from 1-year to 2‑year (four semesters) for all new admissions since around 2014‑15.
For distance or correspondence B.Ed (or ODL — open/distance learning) mode, NCTE sets that the duration must be 24 months (2 years).
Therefore, any “1‑year B.Ed” — through regular or distance mode — is not valid under current NCTE norms (unless it's some outdated or special exception, which is unlikely).

There are many govt. and state universities that conduct BEd entrance exams like IGNOU, VMOU, Kakatiya University, and many more. Check your preferred exam and verify which university will conduct that exam for the 2026 session.
