The seating capacity for BEd course at Rabindranath Bharati University is 50. This information is sourced from official website/ sanctioning body and is subject to change. Candidates are selected for B.Ed and B.Ed Special Education based on merit in the last qualifying exam. Aspirants must complete graduation or Hons. graduation or postgraduation from any UGC recognised university with at least 50% aggregate (45% aggregate for SC/ ST) either at UG or PG level for B.Ed programme. Once the selection is done, shortlisted aspirants are required to pay the course fee to confirm seat in the university.

The APEdCET entrance exam mainly includes objective-based questions. There are 150 questions in this computer-based examination, each carrying 1 mark. APEdCET paper is divided into three section- Part A (General English), and Part B (General Knowledge and Teaching Aptitude), and Part C (Methodology, where the candidate has to choose one subject). There is not negative marking so attempt all the questions, may be you get fluke +1.

The AP EdCET exam will be held on May 4, 2026 based on the exam schedule released by the APSCHE.

Candidates who have appeared for the exam will be able to check their AP EdCET result on the official website using their login credentials. They just have to click on "Download AP EdCET rank card", on the directed page, enter the login credentials to check the result and your qualifying status.

The AP EdCET counselling schedule started in September, almost two months after the result declaration. The first Andhra Pradesh EdCET merit list is released on September 18.
