The faculty at Technological Institute of Textile and Sciences (TIT&S) is often praised for being both knowledgeable and chill. Most profs have advanced degrees and actual industry exposure—especially in textile engineering, which is their OG specialty. Students say the teachers are approachable, clear in explaining concepts, and mix theory with real-life applications. Basically, they know their stuff and care if you're keeping up. This balance is a big reason why placements stay strong.

Pretty awesome, especially in textile and core engineering fields. Profs here are not just book-smart—they've got real-world industry experience and are into research too. Students legit vouch for how supportive and knowledgeable they are. It's one of the reasons the placement stats are fire.

Cutoffs change each year based on vibes (JK—based on applicants, seats, and categories). It's all linked to your JEE Main rank and board scores. For the latest cutoff tea, keep checking the HSTES counselling portal or TIT&S's updates.

It's moderately competitive—not IIT-level intense, but you do need to put in the work. JEE Main is the golden ticket for B.Tech, and your 12th marks also play a role. Textile branch is the hot favorite (duh, legacy goals), but if you meet the eligibility + do decently in JEE, your chances are solid.

Yes! Admissions for the 2025 session are officially open. You can fill out the enquiry or application form online via the TIT&S official website (yup, it's live). Fee structures and course information are all updated too—so don't sleep on it.

It's around INR 17,800 a year for both boys and girls. This covers your room rent, water and electricity, plus a INR 2,000 security deposit. The rooms are non-AC but fully furnished with all the basics: bed, table, chair, and a wardrobe. You also get access to water coolers, guest rooms, indoor games, and decent security. On top of that, there's a mess advance of INR 13,500 per semester, and a INR 7,000 service charge (yep, Servantage is real). The actual monthly mess bill gets posted on the hostel mess notice board, so keep an eye out!
