Both CAT and Bank PO exams have similar portion. You can prepare for both simultaneously as the syllabus and paper pattern is same. Study hard for CAT and keep Bank PO as your backup.

Read these books:
1. Encyclopedia of Advertising and Public Relations.
2. Any book related to Journalism and Mass Communication. I recommend Arihant but the book has wrong answer keys.
3. Brand Equity supplement, comes in The Economic Times every Friday (I think)
4. Vir Bala Aggarwal
5. Book on public relations by Cutlip
6. General English and General Awareness.
