San Francisco Bay University (SFBU) and the University of Texas, Austin (UT Austin) have different tuition prices. Compared to SFBU, UT Austin is clearly more affordable. An overview of the expenses for both universities is shown below:

In-state tuition: SFBU: $42,634, UT Austin: $9,806
Net Price: $17,742 for UT Austin and $33,655 for SFBU
Average Financial Aid: $23,895 at SFBU; $4,890 at UT Austin

These numbers suggest that UT Austin is a more affordable option than SFBU.

Students starting their first semester at Texas A&M University should keep the following things in mind:

  • Make an effort to be social. Try to make friends and grow your network
  • Join clubs, take part in extra-curriculars, explore things outside the class
  • Ask intelligent questions during your classes
  • Learn to cook as relying on cafes and restaurants for food will not make a very good choice
  • Do not be afraid to ask for help. Use tutoring and resources available at the university

If we consider TAMU cost to study, then the tuition fee for out-of-state students is USD 40,607 according to U.S. News & World Report. For the out-of-state students, the tuition fee is more expensive than the national average cost out-of-state tuition which is USD 27,320. Apart from the tuition fees, the other things that are also considered in the cost to study include cost of room and board, books and supplies, transportation, and personal expenses. After including all of these expenses, the expenses will be USD 59,037 (Around INR 49lakh).
