Student residences at Heidelberg Uni are administered by the Studierendenwerk. Single apartments are also available. The students stay in single rooms with a shared kitchen and bathrooms in group of 2-4 students. These residences are close to the public transport. Shopping areas are also nearby to these residences. The cost of living in Heidelberg could be around EUR 1,000 per month. 

Numerus Clausus (NC) means the admission restrictions that Heidelberg University follows. This is for some courses where the no. of applications exceeds the no. of seats available. Only the best-qualified students are admitted.

The University offers only limited specializations in MSc courses only 3 of them for a time period of 2 years to 30 months. The admissions for MSc courses take place in two intakes – Winter Intake (primary intake) and Summer Intake (Secondary Intake).
