Yes, a GRE score is required for admission to MS in CS course at the University of Texas at Dallas. A 308 GRE score (combined) is required – 153 for Verbal and 155 for Qualitative and 4 for the Analytical Writing components. Apart from the GRE score, the applicants must have the following:
- A bachelor’s degree (including 2 semesters of Calculus, 1 semester of Linear Algebra and a strong foundation in programming)
- A GPA of at least 3.0 for the last 60 semester credit hours (GPA in Quantitative courses should be at least 3.3)
- TOEFL IBT score of minimum 80

Admission requirements for International Undergraduate First-Time Students at Texas Tech University:
As a high school transcript, all official documentation showing GPA and class rank should be submitted by the institution's counsellor directly to the Texas Tech Counsellor portal. Applicants who do not have a transcript without a grade will have to assign a grade according to the Texas Senate Bill 1543.
Upon admission to the university, the applicants will receive additional information concerning I-20 documentation requirements.

Yes. If you are below 21 years and have less than 30 hours of completed coursework, you must live on campus. You are eligible to stay off-campus if you are only above 21 or have at least 30 hours of coursework completed. There are different on-campus housing options, you can choose from various residence halls, Apartments Suites, and Pods.
For graduates, there is a separate graduate housing option. All halls are smoke-free with air conditioning, internet service, and free limitless laundry.
