Hi,
There is no concept of placement abroad. On campus placement is done only by Indian universities. UTDallas is a good university and has a good career assistance office. If you want to know details you have to check their website and write to them asking for alumni information, internship help etc.

Hi Akshita,
This is a very lame question, you should check the university website. We are not here to count the number of courses but to guide students on specific topics. If you have anything relevant, only then post a question.

Hi Sindhuja,
This is not explicitly mentioned on their website however they did mention the fact that ' The average GRE score of graduate students in engineering programs is around 1100 on the math and verbal sections, when combined'. Secondly, you must submit a TOEFL score and not IELTS.
I hope this helped.

Hi Pavankumar,
University of Texas includes 14 academic institutions such as University of Texas at Austin, University of Texas at Dallas, The University of Texas at Arlington and so on all of which together forms the University of Texas System. So, you need to be a little specific about the institution you are referring to. Visit the university website for specific information. The University of Texas System is one of the USA's largest systems of higher education.

Your GRE score is fine. However, percentage is bit low. Overall, this university is a little ambitious for you.

Dear Akshatha,
The MS program in MIS offered by UTA is a 33 credits programs (non thesis) and therefore can be completed in two years. If you can take 11 credits in one semester then you may complete the program in 1.5 years. Work experience (2 years) is recommended for admissions to this program. In case you are a fresher, the program might be competitive for you. Hope this helps!
