The acceptance rate at the UT Arlington is around 81%

For admission to UG courses, the applicants must have complete high school. For graduate admission, a Bachelor's degree is required and standardized scores may also be required. Also, international applicants are required to submit English language proficiency score.

An UG degree is required to get into the University of Texas at Arlington MSc in Data Science course is required, preferably in Engineering or Mathematics, that includes one semester of Calculus and experience in Programming is required. The requirements are given below:

  • A 3.0 GPA in the last 2 years of UG coursework. Performance in Engineering, Science or Mathematics is focused
  • At least 300 score in GRE (155 in the Quantitative score + 145 in the Verbal score)

The University of Texas at Arlington requires GRE for admission to MSc in CS course. At least 305 score in GRE (Verbal + Quantitative) is required. The detailed requirements are given below:

  • An UG degree, preferably in the area related to CS, Computer Engineering or Software Engineering
  • An overall GPA of 3.0 or higher
  • A 3.2 GPA on the last two years of undergraduate coursework
  • International applicants with a 3 year's Bachelor's degree + 2 year's master's degree shall be considered as equivalent to a 4 year's Bachelor's degree
