One way to break into the textile industry is by working as an assistant to a professional designer or applying for an entry-level position at a design firm. Some individuals may find employment through their internships. Job prospects will fall in textile industry which includes home furnishings, textile mills, Merchandisers, Fabric Coordinators, Managers in several fashion segments. At a certain point (preferably after few years of experience), you can even have your own textile business. It is really a versatile business as its success level depends upon your creativity and knowledge more than anything.
