Admission to D.K.T.E. Society's Textile and Engineering Institute would depend on the course being applied for as well as performance in entrance exams like MHT-CET or JEE Main, which are the two main criteria for selection. However, in comparison to leading institutes, the competition here is somewhat average because, although this college is regionally prominent, it is not on par with national-level colleges. A good record of academic progress in Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics at the 10+2 level with a respectable entrance test score can increase your chances significantly.

D.K.T.E. Society's Textile and Engineering Institute usually does not offer direct admission to undergraduate programs as admissions are strictly based on entrance exams like MHT-CET and JEE Main, which are required by the regulatory authorities for merit-based selection. However, some private engineering colleges in Maharashtra may have provisions for management quota seats, which could offer a path to direct admission. This usually involves fulfilling minimum eligibility criteria, including passing the 10+2 examination with relevant subjects.
