It is only a state of mind and depends on the level of effort we put in to do something. Textile Engineering is also a challenging field of engineering whcih requires skills such as creativity and excellent presence of mind in order to suggest changes to any issues pertaining to textile products. Candidates should also be quick-learners as well as ready to give in long hours of work in order to extract the right kind of fabric and produce bulk quantities as per the demand of the consignors.

The cutoff trend for B.Tech at Indian Institute of Carpet Technology has been decreasing in the recent years. In 2022, the closing rank for B.Tech. under general category for all India quota was 402792. In 2023, it decreased to 100912. Likewise, the cut off ranks have changed from
708345 to 32295 for OBC
424850 to 15706 for SC
429530 to 5801 for ST
750268 to 16697 for EWS
This trend is likely to continue in the coming years, as the demand for engineering education in India continues to grow. Similar cut off trend can be seen for female candidates under all categories however the ranks are slightly different.

Opening and Closing rank depends on the category and quota of candidates. For JEE Main Round 6 cutoff 2023, the opening rank was 68660 and closing rank was 100912 for the general category candidates under All India quota. Cut off are different when it comes to other categories or female candidates and even domicile of home state. Admission to Textile Engineering in Indian Institute of Carpet Technology is based on the scores obtained in the JEE Main entrance exam. Applicants are advised to confirm what category are they applying while checking for cut offs.
