Both are the standardised tests required to test English proficiency of a candidate for applying abroad. The TOEFL iBT test is offered up to six days a week around the world at authorized test centres or from home. TOEFL iBT Home Edition testing is available worldwide, 24 hours a day, 4 days a week, with appointments available as early as 24 hours after you register. The TOEFL iBT Paper Edition is currently offered 1–2 times a month at authorized test centres in India. For the TOEFL iBT paper edition, candidates would be required to register for two appointments, one at your local test centre and the other at home. To take the Speaking section of the test from home, you must meet the Equipment and Environment requirements.

One needs to visit the ETS TOEFL website.
If you don't have an ETS TOEFL login account, you will need to create one. If you already have an account, one just need to simply log in.
Check the TOEFL section and choose the option to register or find test centers and dates.
You can view available TOEFL test dates and exam location in a two-month window. Select the TOEFL test date and centre that is okay for you.
After selecting your desired TOEFL exam slot, proceed with the registration process by providing necessary details and making the payment of INR 16,900.
