Lalit Mohan Sharma Government PG College offers B.A. In six disciplines, B.Com and B.Sc. In six disciplines at the UG level. Students seeking admission to B.A. And B.Com programme must have passed Class 12 or equivalent from a recognised board with English as a compulsory subject. For B.Sc. Candidates must have passed Class 12 or equivalent with Physics Chemistry and Biology as compulsory subjects from a recognised board. For MLT programme, students must have passed Class 12 with at least second class division with Biology as a compulsory subject from a recognised board. Admission to the UG courses will be done on the basis of merit in the qualifying examination. Whereas for MLT course, admission will be granted based on the score obtained in an Entrance test to be conducted by the university.

The ICFAI University, Tripura offers Merit Scholarships to students pursuing B.Tech programme. These scholarships are based on performance in 12th (or its equivalent) or ranks achieved in JEE Main or Tripura JEE and Semester wise performance during the B.Tech programme. Scored 90 percent or above in 12th or equivalent (only regular mode) or JEE Main Rank less than 30000 or Tripura JEE Rank less than 1000: Rs 60,000 scholarship
Scored 80 percent or above in 12th or equivalent (only regular mode) or JEE Main Rank 30001 to 40000 or Tripura JEE Rank 1001 to 1500: Rs 40,000 scholarship
Scored 70 percent or above in 12th or equivalent but less than 80 percent (only regular mode): Rs 20,000 scholarship

B.Tech in Computer Science Engineering is related to algorithms, computation, programming languages, programme design, computer hardware, computer software, etc. It is a comprehensive course in computer systems and applications. The students who pursue the course of Computer Science Engineering are taught about design, the implementation as well as management of computer software and hardware.
