TSEdCET

The syllabus of TSEdCET consists of the subjects, topics, and subtopics on which the question paper will be based. The TSEdCET questions in the exam will be asked from subjects such as General English, General Knowledge, Teaching Aptitude, Mathematics, Physical Sciences/Biological Sciences/Social Studies and English. The question paper will test candidates knowledge on the basis of conceptual understanding and practical teaching aptitude.

The TSEdCET is conducted across multiple exam centers in the state of Telangana, covering major cities such as Hyderabad, Nizamabad, Nalgonda, Warangal, Adilabad, Karimnagar, Khammam, Siddipet etc. Candidates can select their preferred exam center while filling out the application form, but the final allotment depends on availability. The exact exam center details will be mentioned on the admit card. It's recommended to visit the center a day before the exam to avoid last-minute confusion and delays on the exam day.

To download the TSEdCET of hall ticket students will have to visit the official website and on the homepage, click on the "doanload hall ticket" link, they will have to log in with their credentials, to access the admit card. Once the admit card is available candidates need to check all the details mentioned on it such as their name, roll number, exam date, and exam center. If they find any discrepancies they will have to immediately contact the exam authorities for correction.

The ranks in the TSEdCET exam are assigned on the basis of total marks obtained out of 150. In case there is a tie between two or more candidates, preference will be given to the marks scored by the candidate in Teaching Aptitude and then General Knowledge. If the tie persists despite following this procedure, the candidate older by age will be given preferene and a better rank. These ranks will then determine the seat allotment during counselling process, so even a single mark can make a significant difference.

This year the test will be conducted by the Kakatiya University, on behalf of TCHE. To register for the TGEdCET exam, candidates will have to visit the official website - edcet.tgche.ac.in/TGEDCET/EDCET_ApplicationForm.aspx. Here are the important dates for TSEdCET 2025 -

Yes, the TSEdCET exam conducted in dual languages - English and Telugu. For the English methodology, the paper is conducted only in English. Candidates must carefully select their language preference while filling the application form. The instructions in the TSEdCET question paper will be provided in the selected language. Being familiar with the exam language is essential for comprehension and time management during the test.
