This year the test will be conducted by the Kakatiya University, on behalf of TCHE. To register for the TGEdCET exam, candidates will have to visit the official website - edcet.tgche.ac.in/TGEDCET/EDCET_ApplicationForm.aspx. Here are the important dates for TSEdCET 2025 -

- The last date to apply is May 13, 2025

The TSEdCET exam centres are located across major cities in Telangana like Hyderabad, Warangal, Nizamabad, Karimnagar, Nalgonda, etc. Once allotted, the exact details of the exam centre will be mentioned candidates respective hall tickets. Requests for changes in exam centre are not entertained after the hall ticket is issued, so candidates must choose their centres wisely while filling their application form.

TSEdCET exam centres are allotted based on the preferences filled by the candidates during the application process. The Telangana State Council of Higher Education (TSCHE) tries to assign centres according to candidate preferences, but final allotment depends on availability.

The TSEdCET 2026 exam pattern is mentioned in its official notification. As per the scheme of the exam, The question paper format the question paper is multiple-choice question (MCQ) format and is conducted in online mode. The exam comprises 150 questions for 150 marks and is divided into three parts:
- Part A – General English (25 Questions)
- Part B – General Knowledge & Teaching Aptitude (25 Questions)
- Part C – Subject Methodology (100 Questions) depending on the chosen subject (e.g. Maths, Biological Science, Social Studies, etc.)

Admission to any course at Swarna Bharathi Institute of Science and Technology (SBIST, Khammam) is not based on the scores obtained in the TSEdCET exam. To be eligible for the BTech (lateral entry) course at the college, the candidate must have completed a Diploma in a relevant stream from a recognized University. Although cutoff marks in the exam are not mandatory the candidates having a valid score in the exam are given higher preference.

Hi, for admission to the B.Tech programme at Swarna Bharathi Institute of Science and Technology (SBIST), Khammam, qualifying in an engineering entrance exam such as TS EAMCET, JEE Main, or any other state-level test is required. TSEdCET is not applicable for B.Tech admissions at SBIST. Please refer to the official website for detailed information.
