Candidates preparing for the Analytical Ability section of TS ICET must allocate at least 1 hour each day to practice the questions. The time for TS ICET Analytical Ability section must be used for practising different types of resoning questions such as puzzles, number series, coding-decoding, and data sufficiency.

Candidates practising questions from the section consistently will find an upcurve in speed as well as accuracy. The time allocatted to the section daily can be adjusted based on the strengths and weaknesses of individual candidates.

Candidates preparing for  the TG ICET exam must first focus on what the recommended books have to offer. Candidates must complete the TS ICET syllabus, and then proceed to mock tests, sectional tests, and preparing from the previous year's papers. Therefore, candidates must include TG ICET mock test and sectional tests in their prep strategy.

Mock tests and sectional tests for an exam help candidates analyse topics which they need to revisit. Additionally, candidates get to know what topics are important and need more attention.

Candidates can start preparing using the TSICET mock tests once they have completed the syllabus for all three sections of the exam. However, several candidates find practising mock tests, after every section is completed, useful. Candidates must find the mock test approach that suits their preparation strategy. After solving each mock test, candidates must revisit the study material to improve where they lag. Before taking the second mock test, candidates must have revised the topics where they were stuck in the previous mock test.

TSICET mock test is a simulation of actual exam. Candidates will come across questions and test structure similar to that followed in the exam. Candidates must analyse where they lag while taking the mock test. If they find any particular topic difficult they must revisit that particular topic. In case the candidates know the answers to all the questions yet are not able to complete the exam on time, they must work on some strategies to increase the speed. Candidates must keep a check on which questions they consumed the most time and which questions they were not able to answer to know their weaknesses.
