No, it is not mandatory to appear for both TSTET Paper 1 and 2. Candidates can choose to appear for either Paper 1 or Paper 2 or both, depending on their eligibility and preference.
TSTET Paper 1 is for candidates who intend to teach classes I to V, while Paper 2 is for candidates who intend to teach classes VI to VIII. Candidates who meet the eligibility criteria for both papers can choose to appear for either one or both papers.
Candidates who intend to teach classes I to VIII can appear for both TSTET Paper 1 and 2. The marks obtained in both papers will be considered for eligibility for teaching positions in classes I to VIII. It is

No, candidates cannot choose the same language for both Language 1 and Language 2 in the TSTET (Telangana State Teacher Eligibility Test) exam.
