Yes, as per your qualification you are eligible to appear in the UGC NET exam under Sociology or Management. I have written or because as per the NTA guidelines a candidate can appear in the exam for 1 subject only in one session. You are prohibited to fill two forms at a time. But there are certain other criteria also which you need to fulfil to appear in the exam is your age limit. If you are applying for the JRF the, your age must not be more than 30 years of age. There is no age limit to appear for the post of an Assistant Professor. After meeting all the required criteria you can also fill the UGC NET application form from the official website of the NTA. As per the guidelines exam rules you can appear in the CSIR UGC NET under Physical Sciences subject. But before applying for the exam make sure you fulfil all the eligible criteria which is decided by the CSIR. To apply for the CSIR Net Exam candidate must have a Master's degree or enrolled himself in the post-graduation. Educational Qualification: 55% for general category & OBC or 50% for the reserved category. Age Limit: Maximum age limit criteria is 28 years. 5 years of age relaxation is given to reserved category. There is no upper age limit for the post of an Assistant Professor.
