Hello,
No, you cannot appear directly for UGC NET exam after B.Tech. First, you have to complete M.Tech then only you can give UGC NET.

The National Testing Agency will be conducting the UGC NET Dec 2019 Exam from 2nd Dec to 6th Dec 2019. The registration process of this exam will be started from 9th September 2019. If you are interested to appear in this exam, then it is essential to have complete knowledge of it. The official information bulletin will be released shortly on the official website of NTA NET Exam. Here, you can check the important dates of exam.
Starting Date of Application Form: 09th Sept 2019 to 9th October 2019
Downloading of Admit Cards: 9th November 2019

The National Testing Agency conducts the UGC NET Exam for Electronic Sciences. To prepare yourself for this exam you have to follow some guidelines. Here you can check some tips to qualify the UGC NET Exam -
As you have chosen the Electronic stream to appear in the NTA NET Exam, firstly download its updated syllabus. The updated syllabus is available on the official website of NTA NET.

Hello,
Aspirants who are pursuing Master's degree in any Science stream should go for the CSIR NET Exam. As you are pursuing M.Tech in structure engineering, it will be good for you to apply for the CSIR NET Earth Sciences. To apply for the CSIR NET Exam, you should score at least 55% aggregate marks in your postgraduation. So, before you apply for the CSIR NET Exam, make sure that you are fulfilling all the required eligibility criteria. Best of luck.

Yes, you are eligible to apply for this exam. If you are interested to pursue your career in research or teaching then apply for the UGC NET Exam. The minimum eligibility criteria to apply for this exam is post-graduation. The exam is conducted twice a year (June and December). You can apply for both these session in you want.

NTA has released the notification which was also wrapped with the CSIR NET exam dates. There is a possibility that CSIR will take not the exam this time. The official NTA notification is wrapped up with the following exam activities:
Exam Mode
Opening and Closing of Application form process
Releasing date Admit card
Exam date
Result date
The exam dated for the above exam activities are:
Exam mode: offline
Opening and Closing of Application form process: 9th September to 9th October 2019
Releasing date Admit card: 9th November 2019
Exam date: 15th December

Hello,
On 21st August 2019, NTA has released the official notification which has cleared all the doubts of the aspirants like you. In the information brochure, NTA has declared the exam activities dates which include:
-Exam date
-Opening of the application form window
-Closing of the form window. -Exam Mode
-Admit Card downloading date
-Result announcing date
NTA will conduct the exam from 2nd to 6th December 2019. Make sure you are fulfilling all the eligibility criteria. You can also fill the application form from 9th September. I hope the above information will help you out for. All the Best!
